Marbling might be one of the messiest crafts, right up there with glitter. But despite the mess, you can still have control. It’s all about the technique, especially the tilting.
To get started, you’ll need a squeeze bottle, a paint pouring medium, and acrylic paint. I used equal parts pouring medium and paint, gave the bottle a good shake, and poured the mixture over a piece of wood.
Next, I created horizontal lines using different colors. After each layer, I tilted the wood to create that beautiful marbling effect.
If you want to see cells form, try adding a small amount of alcohol, contact solution, or oil.
